New Patient Dental Appointments
Here’s what to expect at your first appointment:
What Will Happen
- Dental Examination
We will examine your teeth, gums, and mouth to assess your dental health and identify any treatment needs. - X-rays
If needed, we may take X-rays to check areas that aren’t visible during the exam. - Prevention Advice
You’ll receive personalised advice on diet and oral hygiene to help maintain a healthy mouth. - Fluoride Varnish
Where appropriate, we’ll apply fluoride varnish to strengthen your teeth and help prevent decay. - Treatment Plan
We’ll discuss any recommended treatment and involve you in planning the next steps. This might mean being referred to other members of the dental team.
Who You Might See
You may be seen by more than one member of the team, depending on your needs.
